Crochet Basics for Complete Beginners - Basic Stitches

This workshop is ideal for women starting out on their crochet journey, who are looking to learn some of the basic stitches of crochet.

In the workshop you will learn how to make a sample square containing multiple stitches, including chain stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, half treble crochet (UK Terms). The skills you learn for the sample square are perfect to use to create a larger version of the sample square in the future, a blanket.

You will need:

  • 1x Ball of Yarn

  • 1x Crochet Hook

  • 1x Pair of Scissors

This workshop will be held online, so a good internet connection will be needed. Details of how to attend online will be sent to attendees via email in advance of the workshop. As this is the first time this workshop has been run the workshop may finish slightly earlier than 9.30pm, but will not run any later than 9.30pm.
